extreme tiredness and aching feet

what a cheerful blog post title. sore feet from standing in half-inch heels. all that serebeh-ness in kurung and selendang for a whole day. basically, I'm not going to post what the activties were exactly, but a few keypoints on what Khazanah looks for in it's scholar is basically leadership in general. For the first task, they're looking at resilience: encompassing interpersonal skills, self-confidence and work smart. The second task, they're looking at strategic thinking: encompassing forward-thinking and breakthrough thinking The third task: simply integrity well, to note, Khazanah was pretty generous since they supplied us with buffet lunch at PNB Darby Park, and they were transparent enough about the criterias they look for. oh, one of the questions that got my attention was: did you apply for biomedical engineering as a scapegoat because Khazanah doesn't offer medicine? i bet you applied medicine for other scholarships. my answer was: no w...

What If's

IF I can make it for Graduation, who knows when, this is my To-Do List: 1. Collect my Arabic Cert, and school magazine. 2. Purchase modules for Physics (Teacher Amy), Chemistry (Sir Ramli), Biology (Cikgu Mazinah) and Add Maths (cikgu Zakiah) 3. Meet all the teachers I didn't get to meet on the Results day. 4. Meet up with Abang's Teachers, especially Cikgu Aidah, and his classmates and himself. I need to clear the air of what's going on. 5. Close my BSN account, if I have time. (requirement: bank book, IC copy and fill in the form) 6. Take loads of pictures with my friends. Hang-out. Otherwise...well, kiss this good bye. 10th of May, I need to to PUTIK for Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang. The one Yayasan Islam Kelantan is giving away RM 500. some time in June, I hope my results change for the better, then I can go to school to get the new slip. Hopefully by June, I'll be settled in a new educational institution. please oh please oh please.

Just When I Thought

the busy-ness is over, it has started again. Despite not going for Petronas, I got through to second stage for Khazanah! A whole day on the 26th of April, from 8 am to 5.30 pm at PNB Darby Park. This is even more gila than Sime Darby. Oh well, I guess, I am destined to go by the hard way to get a scholarship. Telekom definitely rejected me, Petronas didn't go for it, PNB kind of quiet. JPA by 3rd week of May. Shell and Sime Darby itself no news. I have to do my best for Khazanah. Four stages man. walau bagaimanapun, JPA tetap menjadi harapan utama, even though not as enticing as Khazanah, but it is the most likely to get, hopefully. Graduation is indefinitely postponed, I don't know if I'll ever make it, but I'd really want to see my friends for the last time.

But Drenched in Vanilla Twilight

I seriously need tp take my mind off things. Lately, I've been catching up on reading. I've read almost the complete set of Percy Jackson, yeah, I know, it's a tad bit overdue. I have yet to get my hands on the last installment. Percy is witty and amusing, however, due to being heavily influenced by potter-craze for a long time in my younger years, I can't help but match the stereotypes to some potter characters. The obvious ones would probably be Annabeth and Hermione. Grover and Ron and yeah, even Percy is a reminiscent of Harry (owing to the actor also possessing physical 'potter-ness' as well). Both of them were mentioned in prophecies, but the difference between Harry and Percy. Percy has more spunk and tongue-in-cheek. The sarcasm was refreshing, and yeah, I have a soft spot for Greek Mythology. Percy and Mr. D provides entertainng squabling. I also read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, trust me, it was so so difficult to finish. It was so dry and dul...

Hey Soul Sister

I love that song! I just realized that my last post was three weeks ago. It's like I've been to asrama and have not been able to post anything until outing day or cuti. anyway, a quick update. I've applied for these scholarships: 1. YTN 2. YTM 3. Khazanah 4. Petronas 5. JPA 6. PNB 7. Shell 8. Sime Darby I went for PNB on 1st April. It was a CRTB. I forgot what CR stands for, but TB is Test Battery, which consisted of English, Maths and Visual Spatial IQ test. I answered everything. It was comparatively easier compared to Sime Darby (the one I went for my Trials result). As usual, I was not as good with Maths. On 8th April, I went for JPA. It irked me for one thing, there were more questions asked in Malay. I was the last in line for the first group. It was like a simultaneous one-on-one interview. Most questions asked were about the Malaysian government, economy (well, owing to most of the people in the room wanted to take accountancy and economics) and JPA ...
