Lesson Learned

Stop asking, here's my result: 9 A+ , 1 A (Physics), 1 A- (EST) Against the odds, my PA and Addmaths got A+, Physics, simply thankful for A, but EST...... I was reminded of the times when I fiercely debated with KJ to allow me to take EST, oh well, what to do? The lesson learned here is: HUMILITY You're not always the top dog. no more BESAR KEPALA after this. and GRATITUDE Okay, quickie update, I'm not sure about the real ranking and statistics, but from what I gather, 27 straight A's, and Top Ten National Best Student Nur Syuhadah Muhammad, Top Ten Kelantan state Best Students, Abdul Syakir Fakhri Adnan and Hairul Azman Hanafi. Well, I admit that I'm jealous, but hey, it is God's will, I am redha with it, and I'm happy for you guys. You did Faris Petra proud. Sorry to all the teachers that I tak sempat jumpa, but I really want to thank all of you. Like I've said in my controversial brainstorming slot before this (you know, t...

Butterflies

Yeah, it has been a long time since I posted photos, actually, malas nak upload and the layout also tak menyelerakan, but haven't the time to change it yet. Got my hands full lately. The worry bug has hit me again. I haven't fill in the UPU yet, neither shell or whatnot, and these people have been talking about JPA or MARA? What do I do? What course should I take? Some of them asked my opinion. Of course, I've been hearing a wide array of dates for the release of the SPM results. I was also thinking about Biomedical Engineering. It's a new course, and not some conventional choice like doctor, accuntant, lawyer, architect,  was really wondering about job prospects and I just can't wait to start learning, see how tough it is and see how I cope with it. Yes, I can drive myself mad with studies again, which is actually a more comforting thought than slacking around, thinking about nonsense and letting your brain rot. The future seems so uncertain, the result, th...

I See You

Ignore the post title, it has nothing to do with what I'm going to post, so far, out of creative ideas for a blog title. I'm trying my best to recall the events of two previous nights. I had a chat with Izzat over the phone, he was sharing with me about the criterias that corporate companies look for when they interview a possible candidate for granting their scholarship. Details are kind of fuzzy, since I didn't write it down nor post about it right away. The first criteria is stress tolerance. Now, every criteria has five levels, the fifth level is the most ideal. In the aspect of stress tolerance, the ideal criteria is when the person calmly tackles the stress and influence others to not feel the stress and work together to overcome it. Other criterias are creativity, teamwork, drive to success, capability to understand and solve problems at hand, and I can't remember, sadly. I should have written it down. Basically, what corporate companies look for is wel...

Take Free Myers-Briggs Personality Test I am kind of Introverted? Even if I'm a public speaker-cum-debater? Impulsive action? hurm, sometimes. Craves excitement, yes, I don't want to get bored. Fearless and master of tools, mm, a bit off. I did it twice and got the same results, it's either I lied to myself or I don't really know much about myself, or this test is not as accurate. Anyway, I finally got to watch Avatar and it's awesome! One of the best movies I've seen so far. Ignore the stereotypes and cliches, but the execution was beautiful, the CGI and ever...

Cooking Escapades

It has been a while since I posted anything of my daily activities. I clearly wasn't in the mood, and nothing much is going on. Zah's gone to boarding school (and I know it sounds like an annoying song title, but my life would suck without you). I'm clearly running out of ideas on what to cook, and I'm really bored of the same stuff. Apparently, I seem to have run out of cumin powder and black pepper from my spice rack (I have that?). Usually, when I have that black pepper and I don't know what to cook, I just whip up some masak kicap dish either from beef or chicken. Basically, it's a marinade, well, I guess I could call it that, of a mix of tomato sauce, kicap manis, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, oregano and that's about it. Tomato sauce gives it a sour taste that kind of reduces the sweetness in the kicap. With black pepper also, I could make soup out of scratch. Just your regular soup, mind you, not anything fancy like chowder and stuff like that. T...

KISS Rule

KISS stands for Keep It Simple, Silly (or Stupid). Why don't I bother to post long posts nowadays? Firstly, it is due to my state of mind. I have a bad case of anxiety due to the driving test, which caused me to totally suck at driving yesterday. Secondly, I posted all my Kelantan visit pictures in my facebook, facebook has activex, so it loads pictures in bulk faster than blogger or flickr, but I would really love it if I had the patience to upload it on flickr and blogger. It's nicer to blog with pictures to acompany the story-telling. So, I've managed to do brief posts, but I will elaborate in length later...yes, sue me, I know I wanted to elaborate about a lot more things, but I never get around to doing it, I'm a procrastinator..that's bad...that should change. Then again, priorities come first. I just knew that Zah got to SMS Rembau???? I bet it's a new school. Gosh, I can't imagine what it would be like, that makes Zah like a pioneer batch or ...

Study for Yayasan Tun Razak leadership program interview on the 16th 3. Study for driving test on the 20th. 4. Find a photo album that can accomodate 110 + 260 = 370 photos that I have printed 5. Tampal gigi, still haven't done that yet. 6. Post about my visit to Faris. 7. upload more photos to facebook. 8. Read all my Ranma 1/2, Detective Conan and Detective School Q manga. haha XD

More Driving Self-Reminders

Stopping and Moving on a hill slope (upwards): 1. Step on the accelerator. 2. When coming to a stop, Clutch, Brake, free gear and handbrake. 3. To move again, Clutch, Gear 1, Accelerator and hold, Release Cltuch halfway and hold, release handbrake. Under normal circumstances, after getting into gear, release handbrake, then go for the accelerator. Three-point turn: 1. Enter close to the left-hand side. Turn right at almost 90 degree angle, so that the car is facing the right fully, stop. Free gear. 2. Turn the wheels to the left fully (four 360 degree turns of the steering wheel, I think). Get in Reverse gear. Move, then stop at an appropriate distance. 3. Turn right fully and then get into Gear 1 and go. Parallel parking: 1. Go right next to the first pole. Move forward by keeping an eye on that first pole by looking backwards. Keep on going until the fills one side of the back window. Stop. 2. Turn the steering wheel at a 360 degree once to the left. Get into R...

ilysm

Guess what that word- ilysm means? It's short for.... I Love You So Much. What the? SMS lingo has gone that far??? wow..at first, I was stumped, I know that I'm not a mainstream zombie, and I couldn't care much about what other people are into, but it got the better of my curiousity. What the heck did that word mean? How was it suppose to be read, pronounced? Then, one day, I got it..oh..so, that's what it was. I admit it, I am sometimes compelled to use SMS language, it's the curse of the new century. hey ho, save me from this self-destructing writing plague..first came the writer's block which has yet to be unblocked. I'm fresh out of ideas, and then the grammar thing, and now this disease? Hold on to your horses, I will not allow myself to be part of this. I will never ever use 'ilysm'. Not to that extent. I mean, it's a phrase with so much meaning, and when you shorten it to just that, what is it suppose to mean? You can't eve...

Die Another Day

S.W.O.T. Analysis: Strength : I am exempted from attending PLKN batch 1. Weakness :  am still not free from the worry of having to go to PLKN because I've been moved to the second batch in March. Opportunity: I can do other things while I'm not going for PLKN (yaaay!), and I'll have to think and HOPE for a way that I'll escape the second one. Threat: The letter for the second batch arriving on my doorstep. Well, looks like I'll not be going for the first batch of PLKN, so bubbye KEM Summer Set Resort. I have another interview for a Yayasan Tun Razak Leadership Programme coming up on the 16th. Guess what? I'll be moved to the second batch of PLKN coming up in March. Well, at least, if I went for the first batch, I could still coax myself to go by saying that most of the kids there are from SBP, so they're most unlikely to be rowdy kids, well, not that I'm saying that dayschoolers are rowdy, but you get my drift, dontcha? I could handle an m-1...

Aku Wirawati Negara

Well, I'm not going to touch the computer anymore for the time being..things are just too..freaky..still paranoid of virus attacks... okay, so, I will be away again for PLKN: 2 Jan to 14 Mac Kem Summer Set Resort, Kuala Rompin, Pahang wish me well Adios amigos!

everything we had

I'm still so emo about the Sime Darby interview on the 6th, I'm not going to spare any details yet , but I really think that I didn't make it this time. I just knew that after the 3rd Level of assessment, there will be a fourth level of assessment, and Sime Darby is only giving the scholarship to 8 people , man! That is so cruel, talk about the real world, wake up, people, this is reality ! In real life, chances are that slim , to get jobs and such. This is just the beginning, I bet there are a lot more times through out your life that you will be interviewed. So, anyway, I thought I did okay for the first part, second part, I thought that I could have spoken more , I could have done better, third part, honstly speaking, I didn't know what to do. What I learnt (since I'm going to take this positively as a learning experience ) from the interview is that, you should be more firm in yourself, I seem a bit hesitant in certain parts, especially when it comes to those ...

Closing Curtains on 2009, off to 2010.

Okay, I didn't make a recap before 2009 ended, there are still lots more posts I didn't get to do before 2010. Heck, I'm going to do a quickie recap here: Jan: almost uneventful. Such bliss because I could finish all my homework on time, and usually, the first month of the year, everything has always been done with so much enthusiasm. Cikgu Abdullah left for SMK Kubang Telaga. Feb: definitely busy with golf. This is my favourite complain post . March: Penggal exams. KOT! Fought with KJ over whether or not the students are given a choice to take EST for SPM. more updates in March here . Cikgu Razuki left for SMK Dabong. April: UIA Debate! Wrote a few essays. HKSBP Drama Zon Timur. First glimpse of Mr. Hamdany, new PK HEM. I can't remember when Cikgu Mad was PK KO. May: Hari Guru Celebrations. Mid-Year Exams and HKSBP Debate. have not posted on HKSBP yet. Started my driving license journey. June: Corporate Day was gone. yeeehhhoooo. Perdana essay prize...
